Mandarin CCF

As some of you may already know that, CCF have started a mandarin division of CCF last Septermber. It is dk who was the first to receive such vision from God. He sees the needs in our campus that students who speak mandarin, too, need a fellowship where they can just feel free to share the Word, their thoughts and life experiences using the language they are most comfortable with, right here @ UBC. Yes, there is a need. Of course, there's more to that...

It's always hard to start something, especially when you don't have enough resources. Then, God brought someone to us. Lucia, who's a former VP of CCF and now a student of Regent College studying Theology. dk, Erico, and I bumped into Lucia on the seconde day of new school term last September. It's suprised to hear her ask us if we had ever considered to start a Mandarin CCF and said she could help! We prayed and pray about it in CCF. We know this is what God called us to do.

Really, not many of us from CCF ST can speak or understand Mandarin well. Even dk who envisioned this is in fact the one who has the most problems with Mandarin. Nevertheless, our ST tried to make it everyweek whenever our schedule allowed. We are thankful that Lucia prepared bible study and basically led every week's fellowship.

Not many students know about our Mandarin CCF yet. But we have the faith that as long as we do our job, God will continue to help and guide us, and things are going to happen. dk is on his coop away from campus, Mandy has class at the fellowship time, but I know they will pray for us as always, right? Now, we need to get down to earth and do our best!
